"You might want to be careful there." Travis joked. One of the waitresses was holding way more then she could handle. She could barely balance the tray, Travis was bracing for impact. She wobbled herself over to the table, successfully at that, and rightfully gave each customer their drink. It was a table of seven, and the tray she had was not made to hold that many. And yet, she was able to do it. With a smirk she walked back over to the bar and around the counter. Travis just shook his head and chuckled, "Just wait for next time." She just laughed and chucked the tray in his direction. Travis caught it of course, and just grinned widely. Yeah he may have used his powers a bit, but nobody else knew that. So where was the harm in doing so? And besides, he didn't want to give her the satisfaction of him dropping it.
Her name was Brenda, she was a lot older then Travis and he just liked messing around with her. She's been around ever since he started working here a year or so ago, and right off the bat they hit it off. Not in 'that' way though.
She placed her hand on her hip and waved her finger at him. "Next time drinks will be on you." Feeling pretty proud of herself, with a wide smile she walked into the kitchen. But not before Travis got the last say. "HA HA, very funny. Never heard that before." He threw the tray underneath the counter in a pile of about twenty or so. Well, now maybe twenty one.
A bartender had called out sick earlier, so today it was Travis' job to bartend. He didn't mind it, it was a lot more relaxing then waiting. He didn't have to walk around the entire place taking orders, or attempting to balance trays overfilled with food and drinks. All of his work was behind the counter, walking back and forth refilling glasses wasn't that difficult. Maybe he would ask his boss to give him a permanent job doing that. He liked it, and it made him cooler. Travis could chill, have conversations with customers, and even mess around a bit. And if no one was looking...maybe sneak a drink or two. He also got paid more for doing this, so it just made it all the better. Travis smirked to himself and brought out a cloth from a box underneath the counter. He started wiping down a small area, he did this unconsciously most of the time. It just gave him something to do until someone called out his name. Today wasn't too bad, and he only had three hours to go.

Katy stood walked down the road kicking stones out of her way. She stopped abruptly in front of the Felix Bar, looking up at the sigh above her head. To her it looked like a club where people went to get heavily pissed and forget about everyone. She shook her head and sat down leaning her back against the wall. It hadn't been the best of days for her, she'd fallen out with her Mom over who's turn it was to take out the trash. Katy knew it was petty but she wouldn't be defeated by her mother.
It was getting dark pretty quickly now, the sun was setting over in the horizion. Katy thought it looked pretty romantic and that her brother would have enjoyed it. She sighed an bit her lip, missing her brother even though he died four years ago. Her arm was a constant reminder of all the pain caused, the scars that would be with her forever. She frowned at her arm and pulled down the sleeve of her green hoodie. Katy took in a deep breath as the door of the bar opened.

What a bland day -- it was raining, and everyone's face was just boring. The sun was no where to be seen and the heat was missing. Smiles were gone and it really wasn't making the day better. "Ah, who needs smiles anyways?" Shawn questioned in a thought. He shoved his hands into his jean pockets, they needed a little warmth. Shawn could hear little splashes from the puddles his feet would step in bringing water into his shoe. They splashes made funny noises to him, quite ammusing really.
His eyes began to drift down to the sidewalk, to his shoes. He'd best start walking around or over puddles, wet socks aren't the best. "Hmph -- all this sucky mood is making me hungry. It really was, something about sad faces just made his stomach growl. Shawn's eyes recieved his messages to start looking for a place to eat. As something caught his eye Felix Bar he read slowly. Sounded like they got food to him.
Shawn took a few steps towards the door until opening it. At the sound of opening it, it sounded like it bumped into someone. "Shit," He murmured. "Sorry, 'bout that," Shawn said sympathically before he could even see the person. His hand moved to the outside handle, he began closing it. Shawn's eyes already looking at what was behind the door -- a girl, and she was wet, all the rain had fell of the door and onto her.
"Ah, come in side -- lemme help you dry off and get you something," He said hoping she would take in his offer. Shawn gave her a sympathic look, and opened the door wider for her to walk under his arm and into the bar. He quickly looked away from the girl to the man washing a table -- focusing into his name tag. "Travis, uh do you have a towel?" Shawn asked. He gave a quick glance at the girl -- to see what she was doing.

((Didn't know if you do posting orders here? If you do sorry, i'll re-post it after youv'e posted Steph Katy shivered as the water from the door fell right onto her. Now she was wet that was just the icing on her cake. She glared at the man infront of her and finally stood up brushing the dust from the sidewalk of her jeans. "It's okay. I'm fine it's only rain right?" She said with an awkward laugh. Katy wasn't going to get angry with some guy she'd only just met. Even though first impressions ment alot to her this guy looked alright really. Katy walked into the bar under his arm not realizing she had left her bag outside containing her notebook. She pushed the door shut behind her and moved forward a little, she paused realizing she didn't even know the name of the guy who had got her wet.
"I'm Katy" She said and turned back round to face him, taking of her hoodie as it was soaked right through and would only make her colder if left on. Katy put the hoodie over one arm and looked around the place. It looked very busy and like a place of laughter and fun. Not something that Katy really felt right now. She sighed wondering infact why she had come into a bar with a complete stranger. Katy sneezed and hoped she hadn't caught a cold from the rain.

((I'd prefer to have them, but in this case it's alright. :) it's possible to add in in between even though I'm posting after.))
Travis took the rag he had and threw it back in it's rightful box. He started rearranging some glasses, just to have something to do for the moment, when two people walked into the bar. One was drenched, and the other person was leading her in. Brother and sister perhaps? He asked if he had any towels, so Travis responded a bit hasty, "Sure yeah, I'll go get it." He quickly went into the back storage room and started glancing all around trying to find any sort of towel or rag that could come in use. Near a pile of boxes they had a few, they used them to cut off smaller pieces for rags. They were about medium sized, but better then nothing. So he grabbed the small pile and went back to the front.
It was obvious the girl needed it, so he handed the towels he had in his hand towards her. "Here you go, are you alright?" Water was dripping everywhere, which didn't really bother him but he would have to mop that up soon or someone would trip.

She had taken his offer and had already went under his arm into the bar -- "She's kinda short,"
[/b] He thought as a small chuckle escaped his mouth. Following her in, but obviously she wanted to close the door -- he moved away from her and the door. He thought "Must be a OCD thing," A cold wet sensation touched somewhere on his arm. He began scanning for the patch of water on his brand new tan sweater. Must've brushed against her drenched sweater. His eyes moved from the search to her. She had stepped a little closer -- away from the door. Katy, Katy was her name. "Hm, Katy" He said soaking in the name. "Pretty," He continued giving her smile. Shawn watched as she took the sweater off -- more of her pale skin showed. Then someone inturrupted before he could continue, they held out towels and asked a question. His intentions were to help her get dry, quickly taking her sweater so she could dry off. "Ah, it's super soaked." Quickly thinking as he moved his to holding it with two fingers out in front in him. There was a coat rack a few steps to the side of them. Shawn making his way there. He began to change the jackets around to make room for the rain washed jacket. Shawn made sure it wouldn't get anything else wet. Just cause a puddle at the bottom of the coat rack is all. He began walking back to the girl and man. "There," He said smiling at her. "It should dry now, and oh I'm Shawn -- friends sometimes call me Wally." Shawn continued, his smile still showing through his words. He took a look at the man, "What a cutie," he thought. But he should've been thinking of the girl more -- feeling bad he refocused his attention on her "Again, lemme buy you something, my way of saying sorry." Shawn said raising his eyebrow. Katy took the towels and attempted to dry herself a little although she knew it wouldn't really help to much. At least it was warmer inside, so that would help. She let the guy take her sweater and looked at Travis the bartender.Yeah, just a bit wet. Thanks for the towels. Handing one back to him and she kept the other so that when she sat down she wouldn't make the seat wet. Katy watched as the guy walked over to the coat rack, hang up the garments and then return to Katy.
She laughed as he was saying sorry yet again. Seriously it's okay. Katy said, she was kinda over the wetness and weridness of the situation. So the guy's name was Shawn or Wally.Wally, well they certainly got that right... She thought. Why Wally? Katy asked, there was proberly some childish joke behind it.
Katy placed her hands on her hips and bit her lip. She wondered again why she had come in here with a complete stranger. But then again things were ment to happen for a reason so she might as well embrace it.Urmm okay then. Katy said, she wasn't really intending for him to buy her anything but Katy thought it was polite.

She gladly took the towels off his hand, well actually just one towel, and attempted to dry herself off. The other guy put the wet jacket in an isolated area on the coat rack, it started to make a small puddle underneath it. So Travis threw one of the towels on the ground and moved it in place with his foot. Now he would need a mop to get the rest...Travis wiped his hands on his jeans and just smiled and nodded his head in their direction. He made a trip to the back room again, but not to get a mop. He was the bartender today, it wasn't his job to clean up messes. So he got someone else to come up front, and then he took his rightful place behind the counter. The poor girl, she probably could use a change of clothes. But instead she stayed here with the guy, this would be interesting to follow. The bar really needed to hire more people, all he could think about is if he was getting paid for doing all of this. Half waiter, half bartender....things weren't going as well as he thought. Now he just wanted to wring the neck of who called out.

Quite pleased with himself for his good manners he picked a table. Before he could make his way there he answered her question. "Wally is my middle name, people just like that better than Shawn." He said smiling -- although frowning on the inside he knew she thought there was some joke behind it but there wasn't sadly.
After she was happy to oblige to let him get her something he made way to the table he had picked out. It was right by the window -- so he could watch the rain opposed to watching something else. He really doesn't like to look at people when they talk he intended to have his eyes glaze. Not the best to look at really -- makes him look goofy.
Pulling out the chair before him and taking a seat he looked around, something was missing. The man, he was gone -- "Where'd he go?" Shawn thought. He wanted another look at the cute man. Shawn set his palms in fold and rested them on the table. Licking his lips, he was thirsty -- like for a shake, not a coke -- gross. But a shake sounded good. "Do you want a shake? I hope they have them." He said trying not to sound childish.

I like Shawn. Katy said almost laughing. She sat down opposite him at the table he had picked by the window. She thingyed her head and looked out the window, the rain was sort of calming with it's steady beat. Kat turned to face Shawn again as he asked whether she wanted a shake. Mmmm milkshakes Katy loved them. Sure! Gotta be vanilla though! She said a bit to ethusiasticly. She rested her arms on the table and smiled. Despite only just meeting the guy and him getting her pretty wet, Shawn seemed really nice.

Travis brushed his fingers through his hair and took a deep sigh. More people were coming in. Where was Brenda when you needed her? The guy and soaked girl that came in minutes ago now sat down waiting for a waiter or waitress to take care of them. Travis glanced all around the place, everyone one else was busy and the only one really available was him. He pouted a bit, and just grabbed himself a black apron to put on. Before he walked out behind the counter he yelled in the back room for someone to watch over his spot for a bit. Since he already talked to the two he might as well wait on them.
Travis snatched up a pad and pen and slightly jogged over to their table. Hopefully they wouldn't mind seeing him again. He walked up with a smile and the pad in one hand, the pen in the other. "Hey you two, anything to drink?" Travis casually said. Before they could answer he turned to the girl. "You sure you're alright? Need another towel maybe?" He only wanted to be polite, so he thought he might as well make sure everything was ok.

Shawn found himself surprised at the thought that she was here, with him. Sure he had nothing else better to do -- that's why he invited her. But still, he was hoping noone thought of him a creeper. Shawn was just trying to be nice, besides he like gay. He chuckled at her words. "I love vanilla, chocolate is a no go." Shawn said smiling warmly at her.
Out the corner of his eye he could see a man making his way to their table. Taking a quick glance -- he noticed it was the guy from earlier (the cute guy from earlier). Inviting him with a bright cute cheesy smile he answered his question, "I think we would like vanilla shakes. If you have them that is?" Shawn could feel his muscles tensing up hoping they did have shakes. Common shakes were like essential everywhere -- its like the cheese on a grilled cheese sandwhich.
Turning his eye contact from the man to the girl, and gave her a smile. As the man asked his question -- hopefully she wasn't cold. If she was he needed to let her know, it was no big deal. He could get her something another time. Shawn rather do that than have to have her sit there and be cold. He know he'd be wanting to return home to take a nice warm shower -- and sit in his couch curled up in blankets.

Yeah, i'm sure i'll live. She said and smiled at the man who's badge read Travis. Thanks anyways Travis. Katy added. She brused her curly hair out of her eyes and behind her ears, although she knew it would proberly flop back again if a few minutes. Katy looked from Shawn to Travis and then back to Travis again. She had a hunch that Shawn had the hots for Travis although she wasn't going to say anything.Well no just yet, Katy imgained them as a couple they looked cute togther, she put her hand over her mouth to stop her from giggling as she worked Shawn out.
Katy stretched down to pick up her bag but her hand touched nothing but air. A puzzled look spread across her face as she got up and bent down to look under her chair. It wasn't there, she checked that she hadn't given it to Shawn to hang up by looking over the the coat rack, but all that was there was her hoodie and his jacket. Katy took in a deep breath and tried to rememeber where she had had it last. Panicking a little she sat back down, Katy didn't care about her cell phone or key that were in there, they could be replaced but her sketch book on the other hand couldn't. ''Did you see where I put my bag?'' She asked trying to calm down a little.
