It's been one long year since that fateful day. The dorms of Rosewood Prep were stormed by two gunmen and four people were shot and killed, five others injured. No one ever thought this would happen. Rosewood was a little hole in the wall town. Everyone knew everyone. One person had a cold, the entire town had the cold. Everyone was so tight knit that it would never have been expected for this to happen. But it did. It was the most memorable day, and certainly not in a good way. They're just re-opening Rosewood Prep and everyone's coming back. It should be interesting and full of drama...
The four people that died that day left behind family. Two of the people were the gunmen. They turned the guns on themselves once they were done. This is the story of how all four of their families are coping. The victims' families can't stand the culprits' families. It's hard for all of them. To believe that they did this. No one would have expected it from either one of them.
Christopher Hastings, Spencer and Melissa's brother was a victim. They were all so close until Chris died. Now, Melissa and Spencer can't stand each other. Johnathan Montgomery was a shooter. He was Aria's brother. Johnathan was an Honors/AP student. How is it that he was capapble of this? Grace Marin, Hanna's sister was the second victim. She was strong when it came to it. She had the gun pointed in her face and she didn't cry. She knew what was going to happen, she was strong, knowing that God would protect her. Lastly, Thomas Fields, Emily's brother, was the last shooter. He wasn't an outcast, but wasn't exactly with the in crowd. He and Johnathan were good friends. The fact that they did this together wasn't much of a surprise. That's the ony part that didn't shock everyone. So you tell me, what's going to happen when their all back at school together?
There's a small twist to our story, though. Aria and Emily knew that the shooting was coming. They always thought that it was a joke so they never said anything. Now, they feel responsible. What's going to happen when it comes out that they knew what was going to happen? Never trust a pretty girl with an ugly secret. Usually they have more than one secret.
