Cade walked slowly around the back of the school. Shortcut sch-mortcut, Cade told himself. This was probably just the popular kids' way of getting back at him for being such a nerd. Serves me right for asking them for directions, I guess, he decided, and shuffled his feet on the dirty concrete, giving the white tip of his converse hi-tops a gray-ish tint.
As Cade rounded the corner, a distinct scent made him realize exactly where in the building he was. This was the legendary wall where juvenile delinquents went to smoke and do drugs and stuff. Cade cursed himself for being such an idiot. Now he was going to get in serious trouble with the potheads for intruding on their turf. He looked behind him. He was surely going to be late for his next class, so he figured "Why the hell not?" So he plunged himself into smoker territory, and got his lungs filled with grossness. [/size]

Cade glanced over towards a girl. She held a cigarette in her hand, but as soon as she noticed Cade, she dropped the cigarette and stepped on it forcefully. "What are you looking at?" she hissed at him. Cade immediately looked away, embarrassed. He said nothing, and quickened his walking pace slightly. The sooner he got out of there, the better.
Suddenly, Cade took a step back. A not-so-distinct image formed in his head. He closed his eyes tightly and put his hands to his temples, trying to bring the image into focus. He'd been able to do this for the last few visions that were blurry. Still, all it was was a blur of colours, and it disappeared as quickly as it came. Cade opened his eyes, and shook his head a little bit. He looked at the cigarette girl. She probably thought he was a weirdo or something. Oh, right. He was. [/blockquote]
