Chad Dylan Frost walked out of the Lincroft Private Academy, his black book-bag slung over his shoulder lazily, and his Geometry book in his left hand. It was 3:00, and you know what that means...Schools out! And was he glad! Today was boring, nothing special or interesting happened, and he was just bored today. Well, I guess Mondays did that for a guy.
Chad was dressed in a brown leader jacket, with a white collared shirt, with a blue tie to match, with dark blue jeans; basic clothing style, for him at least; he wondered why everyone else didn't dress like him! He hated the fact that today there was a sub for drama class...and an old rickety one at that! I mean; was that woman even breathingin class?! They ended up just sitting there, doing nothing, they couldn't even run lines or anything! That woman had serious anger problems and yelled at them each time someone uttered.
My gosh, what a heck of a day it was in last period.
But, now that it was over, Chad didn't have to worry about anything now; he had no home-work(thanks god) and just had to get home and walk the dog..oh wait.
He felt the drops of rain appearing out of the thin sky, and realized it was sprinkling, oh yes! Now he didn't have to walk that mutt! Well, the rain could light up, but who knows, it may just start pouring any minute now! He then realized he had no umbrella or anything to shelter him from this rain. Great.. He thought sarcastically and then headed over towards the side-walk, where he was forced to wait for his ride home. His guess was that Mark(their butler guy) was going to be late, as usual; why couldn't they fire him already? Sighing mentally as an annoyed expression came over Chad's face, the blond just hosted his book-bag higher on his shoulder and shifted his weight, blinking slightly as the rain sprinkled on his face. well, atleast it's not storming yet. He thought absently, his eyes traveling around his surrounding for amoment, taking in the sights of the other students walking past and the soft voices of their chatter.

Katy walked out of the school, it had been an adverage day, nothing spechial at all about it. She was glad it was over but annoyed that it was raining again. Katy wasn't really dressed for the rain at all. She was wearing a black lace top that emphaised her clevage, a denim mini skirt with leggings and a pair of grey button boots. Katy shivered as she had left her jacket at home.
She stood there frowning at her phone and wondered what to do. She could call her Dad but he would be out somewhere most proberly. Katy shivered as the cold really hit her.Damm why didn't I bring a bloody coat? She thought to herself.
A group of guys were standing by a tree, one of them whistled at her and shouted"Nice baby!" Katy rolled her eyes ignoring the gang, instead focusing on how she was going to get home. Her Mom would ushally pick her up but today she was working so it looked like Katy was going to have to walk. Sighing and folding her arms she walked down the sidewalk, pausing to call her Mom to double check she wasn't picking her up. It went straight to answerphone which normally ment her Mom was in a meeting..

Chad was now getting real ticked at Mark. Where the hell is he? He grumbled softly to himself under his breath. He checked his watch on his right wrist and sighed; a whole three minutes had passed by. oh yeah, I'm definally going to make dad fire that no good-.. He was thinking angrily, but his thought was cut short by the sound of first a whisle, and then some guys whitty pig-call. It seemed that some guys were trying to pick up on some girl, yet again. He switched his lingering gaze on the road, to the direction of where he head the sounds.
Ah, he knew it. Those gang boys were at it yet again. He slightly smirked at the thought of the stupidity. Why couldn't those men know that their dog-yelping wasn't going to get a girl to like or notice them, it was all about looks, charms, and timing. Which, of course, Chad Dylan Frost all had! He shook his head slowly, wondering what the world would be like if people were as good as him...
Well, you couldn't have everything.
After he was done, 'pitying' over those mongrels, he finally noticed this girl walking over towarsd him, not looking very happy. Well, then that must have been the girl those guys were squacking at. Well, he wouldn't blame them, she did look very pretty, but could she have been pretty with a coat on? Tisk, tisk, tisk, she must not have looked at the weather this morning...ah ha! He knew he remembered something this morning about it raining, that's why he had decided on his leader jacket. Well, back to what-ever-this-girls-name-was again. She seemed not wearing the right clothes for this mini shower, poor thing. Well, not that he cared, did he ever? Of course he did! He cared about himself, who else was their to care about? um...no one.
He watched the brunette for a few moments, studying her. He was wondering who she was calling; because well, what else was their to think of when he was out in the rain and having to wait for his sorry excuse for a butler to show up and pick him up?
His face wasn't turned to her, but he was watching her from the corner of his eyes; his face calm.
(ha ha! ain't he just a mean little boy? XD don't worry he'll get nicer.)

She frowned at cell, whenever she wanted to call her Mom sh was always to busy for her. But when her Mom wanted to call her Katy wasn't bothered with her, that resulted in an argument at home about how you should always answer you phone. Kat found that very ironic, considering her Mom never answered her calls at all. She stabbed her Dad's number into her cell and tried calling him, it was ringing which was a good sigh. Maye things were picking up a little bit. She had thought to soon and jynxed herself. Her cell had run out of battery.
She growled at her phone and turned around to face a guy, who appeared to be trying not to look at her. Shoving the phone in her handbag and swinging it back over her shoulder she walked over and stood next to the guy. Katy looked back at the group of guys, the were talking to each other and looking over at her occasinoly. Which blatently ment they were going to come over and try to talk to her. Katy wasn't going to have any of that.
She just wanted to go home and be in the dry warmth of her house. She planned to get changed into her pj's and snuggle up on the couch with a hot chocolate to warm her up a little bit. Smiling at the thought she wondered what would be on the televison when she got back. ((Yeah poor Kat He best be nice to her otherrwise she won't be happy!))

(^-^ lol) Chad Dylan averted his gaze from the girl to stare out across the street, it was just empty, oh how he wished he could drive, would make life much easier. He then glanced over at the girl again, seeming to be having trouble. Her cell-phone appeared to be not working for her, as he could see her putting it away in a huff. too bad; I would lend her my phone...but i don't have it with me... He thought suddenly, feeling alittle bad for her. I mean, she was stuck in the rain just like he was, but she didnt' have a coat...
Uh oh, she's coming over. He noticed as she began walking over. SHe stood beside him, not seeming to acknowlege him. Well really... He thought, thinking it rude for not atleast muttering a 'hi' to him. But it wasn't that big of a deal. He glanced at her once again, seeing that she was looking over at those guys.
He raised an eye-brow, hoping she wasn't thinking about actually liking one of them. Was that a smile? Why was she smiling? He shifted his weight and let out a small sigh, his gaze going back to the road. He wasn't much to talk alot...well not to strangers...or random girls that walked up to him.
Well, he did flirt, but not all the time; with each girl I mean. If the girl interested him, of course he would try some of his moves on her. But, right now, in the rain, didn't seem that smart, and whoever this was didn't seem in the mood. Yes, she was pretty, even with her now shoaked hair, but he needed to know alittle more about her...He blinked, his blue eyes traveling back over to her. He tried to see her face more, and he still was wondering what she was smiling; but he still chose to stay silent.

The smile faded off her face as she shivered again, Kat was freezing. She turned to face the kid standing next to her, he was kinda cute she thought. "Hey" She said smiling again at the guy. She reconised him, as he was in the year above her. Katy placed her hands on her hips and continued to look at him. She made eye contact with him, her hazel eyes looking at his bright blue ones. Katy looked away and blushed a little. She stared at her feet not knowing what to say to mysterious boy. She wondered what he was doing standing here, waiting for his ride maybe? Katy took a deep breath in and rubbed her small hands togther in the attempt to warm herself up a little bit.
Her gaze averted back over to the group of guys, they were still staring at her. She felt awkward and hoped that they wouldn't come over and pester her. She wasn't in the mood to deal with arragont idoits who blatently wanted her for sex. Katy wrapped her arms round herself and leaned her head to one side looking at the boy infront of her again. Yeah he was really cute.

Chad was glad she spoke first, for he was not one to start conversations. He smiled abit crookedly in response to her greeting. He then saw she had hazel eyes, nice color; usualy he saw girls with either brown or blue eyes, not hazel. He blinked as she looked away; now noticing that she was cold.
And indeed the temperature had dropped. His eyes darted out to the side for a second and then back to her; she looked over at the group of boys again. He felt that she was feeling awkward with them around. He frowned abit and then looked away when she looked back at him, not wanting her to think he had been staring at her for all that time. He is not a stalker or anything...
Now looking back at the girl, he presumed she was in a lower class than himself, since he hadn't seen her around, atleast not in his halls-, or the upper classmen halls. He moved his book to his other hand and pushed his hand into his pocket. Decding to talk now, Chad began friendily, "Waiting for your ride?" seeing that that was a friendly and casual thing to ask on first terms. Even though it was obvious, he wanted to keep her mind off the others.
Wait a second, duh! Of course he could, he just had to keep her thoughts somewhere else. He fully smiled at her, his eyes turning soft; hoping to keep all her attention on him; trying to push soothing thoughts into her mind. He was happy that he was born with such a gift, him being a pusher and all came in handy. The only problems he now faced was Division One, and getting through High School, other than those two obstacles, he had a great life. He stared at her calmly, flipping his hair, so that it wasn't in his eyes so much, stupid rain...

Katy suddenly felt a little happier and calmer, the thought of being home with a hot chocolate returning. She smiled again this time it was a warmer smiler.I guess, I'm not even sure if I have one at the moment. Katy looked at him dreamly no longer bothered by the gang of guys talking about her.How about you?She asked him twirling her wet hair around her index finger. Katy hated the rain, it had ruined her beutiful hair that she had spent hours on this morning. She looked at her watch it was almost four o'clock now, if no one came to pick her up soon she would proberly end up walking all the way home. Katy hated the long walk to her house, sure it was a good opptunity to exercise but apart from that it was such a mission.

Chad was glad it was working. He nodded along at what she said first, seeing she was having the exact same troubles as he was. "Same as you, my ride's running late." He told her with a sigh, glancing out at the street once more. "I wish I had my cell-phone with me; but I forgot it. I saw that yours was giving you trouble?" He went on, staring at her thoughtfully. He could tell she was impatint, and he was too; but Mark should be getting here by now.

She frowened as he mentioned her cell phone dying. Urghm I forgot to charge the stupid thing and it died on me. Katy said shrugging. She thought her phone was kinda crap anyways. It was a tempory one because her last one got broken at a party. Her parents were suprisingly sympathetic about the whole thing and said she could get a new one when they next went for a 'Family Shop'. Of course those never happened anymore so Katy was stuck with her rubbish old phone that had the most dire battery you had ever seen.Who are you waiting for?Katy asked him softly.

Chad chuckled abit, as she told him she forgot to charge it. He then answered, "..Just my family's butler Mark. This is the third time this week he's made me have to wait..." He sighed and shrugged, "I'm Chad by the way...Chad Dylan Frost." he told her with a smile, keeping his thoughts on her, not wanting to think about the late Mark. He stared into her eyes deeply, usually how he introduced himself, and realized the the rain wasn't coming down as hard as it had. That's a relief. He thought as he waited for her reply.

Katy blushed again as Chad stared into her eyes once more, she broke the gaze and looked down at her feet. He had an unushal name Chad Dylan Frost, it sounded like some gangsta's name. I'm Katy Hale or Kat which ever I don't mind. She said and smiled again, finally looking back up at him. Aw so your one of the dead rich are you? She commented as he said about his butler, it was true that Katy's family had their fair share of money but they could only afford to send her here due to the death of her Grandparents a few years ago, both of them had left a very good amount of money that would proberly mean Katy's parent's could retire now. But they both loved working and didn't want to give that up.
Suddenly Katy remembered she had an umbrella in her bag although it wasn't much use now. She opened it and took it out. Not much use now is it? Kat said laughing at her own stupidity. It was nice to actually talk to a guy who wasn't just intrested in sex or because she was pretty. Atleast she thought Chad wasn't intrested in her because she had heard his name before somewhere...

Katy... He thought momently, memorizing her name. It was funny, he had never met a girl with the name Katy. Interesting. He blinked as the sun broke through the clouds abit, the sun-light washing over them both. That felt better.
Chad smirked as she mentioned him being rich, glad she noticed. "Yeah...but I mostly see myself as a higher classman, I don't really call it 'rich'." He told her smoothly, his hand going up to his tie, adjusting it. He was being full-of-himself, but only for a second. He then saw her take out the umbrella. He bite back a laugh as she said the last thing. "That might have been better two minutes ago." He commented amusingly, a small chuckle escaping his lips. He sighed and felt the the rain had completly stopped, "This feels better." he said ran his fingers through his now wet hair breifly.
He stepped back for a second to acknowledge the clearing sky. "It looks like the rain has stopped." He mused, bringing his hand down, looking back towards her with a contented smile, his eyes sweet and gentle; still wanting her to feel safe and carefree. But, what bothered him right now, was the fact that he wanted to make her feel fine...any other girl he wouldn't give a flip about, but Katy seemed...well, not different, but she just interested him, she wasn't like the others, not proper, or snippy, just a kind-hearted girl.
He flipped his hair again, his eyes glancing breifly at the guys over by the sidelines, wondering if they would go; as much as Chad loved audiences, there were certain types he didn't like watching him, and those guys were the type he disliked. He gazed back at Katy slowly, a now skepticle look on his face.

Katy laughed as he refered to himself as a 'higher classman'. Chad was diffrent to most guys, she could tell this he was sweet but funny at the same time, a quality she liked in guys. Don't say that, your jynx it! She said nudging him lightly in the ribs. Katy smiled at him, she wasn't normally so nice to guys, because she knew they would just mess her around. But it was diffrent with Chad. She followed his gaze over to a group of boys, she had somehow completely forgotten about them. An akward feeling spread back over her and she felt uneasy about the whole situation.
She bit her lip and returned her gaze to Chad. Do you mind if I wait with you untill they go? Katy asked, by they she ment the boys. Because if she started walking on her own they would proberly follow her. If she was lucky the guy might even offer her a lift but that was pushing her luck slightly. She shook her head at her phone and placed it back in her bag. As soon as she did the rain started again, falling quote hard this time, she rolled her eyes and pulled out her umbrella. It was big enough for the both of them so she put it up over them. What did I say? Katy said laughing at him, for once she hadn't had a vision to predict the future.

Chad frowned as the rain started up again. "darn..." he muttered and chuckled, "Sorry, next time I won't say anything." He told her smiling abit.
He moved so he was under the umbrella with her, good thing it was big enough for them both. Funny how the rain had started up, died down, then started up again...scattered showers he guessed. He then answered her last question, "Sure, you can wait with me." He said simply, shrugging like it was no big deal, glancing at the guys again. Atleast they had an umbrella, that left those guys with nothing. He met her gaze with his as he turned to look at Katy.
"You know, if you want, when my ride gets here I could give you a lift." He said slowly and thoughtfully, tilting his head slightly to the side, while raising his eye-brow at her. He didn't mind really, he liked her, alot, heck, he may even be stating to have a crush on Katy. He smiled slowly, his white teeth showing as he waited for her reply, using his pusher skills to send nice, sweet emotions into her mind. God, he wasn't being himself...but the total opposite! It bothered him, but he kinda liked it...strange...
